Welcome to the website of Sir Glen Johnston, trombonist, bandleader, and music educator. Founder of the venerable hunting horn ensemble Parforce as well as the Glen Johnston Swing Band, Glen is an also an avid hunter, outdoorsman, and music educator.

Glen Johnston spent his early years as a top trombonist and arranger with the show bands of Las Vegas, playing at THE premiere hotels and night spots on the strip, and working with countless legendary performers. After relocating to Montana, he founded the Glen Johnston Swing Band and became director of Jazz Studies at Montana State University, a position he held for thirty years.
